This year we went to Lake Powell for the 4th of July holiday. We had a great time!
Lake Powell is one of our favorite places to go and we always have such a blast!
This year we stayed on the cabin cruiser ..."Hubba Hubba" and had Scott's parents with us. The weather was beautiful and we didn't have too many Lake Powell mishaps!
Although I did flood the jet ski with Nathan on it...haha...but then we all tipped it over when Scott tried to come aboard and help me out.
So....I was so sad to lose my fav. sunglasses at the bottom of the lake. Totally my fault not to take them off before! or...have cheap ones on instead! Dang it!
We ate most of our meals on the boat and Scott even BBQ'd some delicious hot dogs this year! The boys had a blast on the jet skis...(without mom driving of course..) and Blake didn't want to get off!! We had lots of fun driving around the lake, and stopping at our favorite places...
Lone Rock, Antelope Canyons, Castle Rock, and of course Warm Creek Bay.
We celebrated the 4th of July by watching fireworks by the Glen Canyon Dam. It was a great weekend, and we didn't want to come home! We already have 2 more trips planned there this summer,.....just wish it wasn't 12 hours away!!!
